About Susan

Susan’s inspiration for teaching yoga is to help others enjoy more moments of calm and clarity on the mat and in their daily lives. Drawing from her yoga and meditation trainings, Susan has learned to work with the energies of the body, mind and heart to promote balance, health and happiness. Her thoughtfully sequenced physical postures, breathing techniques and guided meditations combine to release tension and stress while cultivating mindfulness, inner peace and renewal. If you’re curious about discovering the transformative effects of relaxing the body and quieting the mind, or are already enjoying their profound benefits, Susan welcomes the opportunity to practice together.

Susan completed the 500-hour certification in PranaVayu Yoga in 2013. She is also a certified Relax and Renew® Trainer with Judith Hanson Lasater and holds certifications in Shamatha Calm-Abiding Meditation and Mangalam Yantra Yoga from Khenpo Migmar Tseten Rinpoche at the Harvard University Buddhist Chaplaincy.

Before discovering yoga, Susan’s literature degree from Dartmouth College and a graphic design certificate from MassArt enriched her interests in language, art and design, preparing her for careers in publishing, graphic design and education.
