About Julie Julie loves practicing and teaching Vinyasa style classes. She has been practicing yoga for 10+ years and has completed yoga trainings and workshops in Pranavayu, those influenced by the Baptiste yoga school, as well as teaching yoga to children. She credits yoga with improving all aspects of her life, ranging from helping her lower back problems to helping her learn to be more patient with her children, to helping her become more flexible in mind, body, and spirit. Her classes are playful and powerful and usually accompanied by an eclectic playlist. Johnny Cash is a favorite.
Among her favorite poses are wild thing, arm balances, all forms of pigeon, and really any pose that gets into her tight hips. She is still in search of her full split. Julie lives on the North Shore with her husband, two young children, and two downward facing dogs.
