Check out a clip from last year’s training below!

This foundational training will give you all the tools necessary to transform in ways that you might never have thought possible. Through dedicated hard work, practice, and study, you will experience the ways in which our innovative training system can help you rapidly cultivate a strong and flexible body, a positive and courageous mental outlook, and the strength of heart required to lead others on their path to awakening and peace. With it’s emphasis on small group exercises, information creation practices, and experiential learning, this seven weekend training is unlike any yoga teacher training offered today.

Over the course of this seven weekend program you will learn:

  • Specialized training methods that can help you radically improve strength and flexibility in as little as one single practice
  • An empowering life philosophy that can be used to transform both positive and negative experiences into tools for deeper insight and awakening
  • A series of millenia-old meditations that will show you how to consciously cultivate an open heart and a peaceful mind
  • Yoga sequencing technologies that can be used to construct thousands of unique and highly efficient yoga classes for beginning and intermediate students
  • The basics of Periodization – A favorite technique of Olympic Gold Medalists that will help you realize your peak potential by learning to work smarter rather than harder
  • A proprietary alignment system that can be used to safely position any posture that you will ever encounter in a yoga class
  • The basics of human anatomy and physiology

Highlights of the program include:

An experiential learning format

Just as we learn how to swim by swimming, how to draw by drawing and to sing by singing, the best way to become a good yoga teacher is to actually teach classes. To help you develop your teaching skills, you will be given plenty of time to engage in exercises that will help you practice doing all of the things that will be required of you as a professional yoga teacher.

A group learning environment

Since we often learn more by interacting with peers than through any other means, our teacher training will focus on creating small learning communities that will help you absorb information at an accelerated rate through focus exercises, group discussions and guided partner work. Supplementary readings and homework assignments will be given to support the learning that we do in class.

A strong emphasis on information creation

Creating new materials is one of the best ways to integrate new knowledge and skills into your memory banks. With this in mind, our training will encourage you to create new neural connections through yoga sequence creation, group presentations, and fun interactive exercises that engage your whole body and mind.

Graduates of this program will be eligible for 200 hour registry with the Yoga Alliance.

Who Should Attend

This training is open to anyone who would like to learn more about how the PranaVayu method can be used to achieve rapid mind/body transformation. While the wish to eventually teach is not a prerequisite for the program, an altruistic attitude and the willingness to work hard is required.
