Intensive Training Modules






Do you want to deepen transformation that you’ve experienced in PranaVayu classes? Join our intensive training program!

The PranaVayu Yoga intensive training program is designed to help you transform your life through short accessible weekend sessions.


These experiential programs are a perfect way to explore our alignment system, meditative practices and the ways in which we use our Buddhist inspired philosophy to take our yoga off of the mat and into the world.

You can choose to begin your experience with one or any combination of a series of three-day weekend modules.

Each program of study will primarily focus on putting principles into action through intensive yoga practice, lecture and guided meditation.
Upon successful completion of all three modules, graduates of the intensive training can apply for admission into the PranaVayu Yoga teacher-training program.


For those who are accepted, all 100 hours gained through the intensive training modules will transfer and be applied to the full 200-hour requirement for certification as a PranaVayu Yoga teacher.

These programs are open to anyone who wishes to attend.



Hardcore Alignment

PranaVayu Yoga has a unique theory of alignment based on skeletal positioning, developed by David Magone in 2007. Designed to take the guesswork out of body positioning during your practice, the PranaVayu Core alignment system helps you to achieve immediate improvements in strength, flexibility and balance.

Over the course of this intensive, you will learn the following concepts and integrate them into two daily yoga practices:

  • The benefits of efficient skeletal positioning
  • How to use the 9 lines of engagement to make it easier to position your yoga poses
  • Universal movement principles that can be easily applied to every type of posture that you will encounter in a yoga class




Living a Life of Meaning

This philosophy training intensive will help you explore the Buddhist inspired principles of PranaVayu Yoga and the ways that they can help you cultivate a healthy, meaningful and open state of mind. We will use a combination of breathwork, transformative yoga sequences and time tested mental training techniques to help you rediscover the best in yourself and deepen your connection to others.

These sessions will include:

  • Two daily PranaVayu Yoga classes
  • A basic overview of the Buddhist inspired philosophy of PranaVayu Yoga
  • Six transformative practices that will help you live a happier life
  • Meditative contemplations that can be used to cultivate a loving heart and an open mind




Change Your Body, Free Your Mind

The PranaVayu approach to meditation is designed to help you take your meditative practice to the next level. Perfect for beginning and experienced meditators alike, this training intensive will introduce you to two types of meditation used in PranaVayu Yoga. This intensive session will introduce you a number of transformative tools that can be used to consciously relax the body, calm the mind and overcome emotional obstacles such as anger, fear, and worry/anxiety.

This meditation intensive will include:

  • Two intensive PranaVayu Yoga practices per day
  • Sivayatra meditation – a practice that helps you consciously relax the body
  • Shamatha meditation – a meditation that can be used to calm the emotions
